I cannot believe people are seriously angry about that Coca-Cola ad. I guess they forgot that we are a country made of immigrants. Then again, at the same time, I'm not surprised. #murica
Also, when I watched it, I frowned. Not because I didn't WANT it sung in another language but because I felt it was perpetuating a lie: the idea that the USA is accepting of people who were singing the song in another language. And within minutes, American Twitter proved me right. Though thankfully there were also a lot of people calling out the racist, xenophobic idiots.
I need a break from the USA for a while.
