So I was thinking about the past (bad idea, I know), and I think moving to Charlottesville two years ago was sort of a mistake and I shouldve taken the job in Maryland that was first offered to me or stayed up in NYC.

If I hadnt moved to Charlottesville, I probably wouldnt have been introduced to Tumblr. (I dont remember exactly how I found out about Tumblr, but it was during my first few months in Charlottesville.)

If I hadnt been introduced to Tumblr, I wouldnt have met Anna, and 2011 wouldnt have been completely f***ed up.

If I hadnt met Anna, I wouldnt have stupidly based my work schedule and job prospects around a girl who didnt even care about me and made a bunch of stupid decisions at that job.

If I hadnt made all those stupid decisions at that job, I wouldnt have wasted all that money on those short-term apartment leases because I didnt know how long I would be staying at that job.

Most of this is tongue-in-cheek and Im normally not a blame others kind of guy. But really, sometimes I wish I had never known or found out about Tumblrand wonder how things would have happened if I had taken that other job.

But I guess it's useless dwelling on the past...
