Interesting, that's a really cool analogy!

god, this is the most dejected, humbling feeling i've felt in oh-so-long...

no, doesn't have to do with the love life... no worries there...

just something in general... y'know... like a general convenience store... lots of things in it, lots of possibilities, lots of choices...

nothing to be worried over, certainly... just one of those hard realizations about life.

The cabin has always posessed a weird ability to rejuvenate. I suppose this is why so many people seek out opportunities to establish "cabins"...

It never fails to show me how much I've taken ours for granted whenever I bring friends out to it... comments like "it's so beautiful here," "it's so relaxing," and "this place is amazing" are almost tired cliches... but... it makes...

gone for the weekend. whilst gone, a few things that, if you're bored enough, you can tell me about:

- your best blind date story
- what you ate for dinner
- things that make you unexpectedly smile
- practice targets (i'm learning to become an assasin)
- the phrases that someone close to you uses (that whenever someone else says them, instantly reminds you...

My parents did the opposite. They cut my hair themselves, and very short, so everybody thought I was a femme-y little boy with my short, straight hair and tiny little hiking-boots. smile But then, I sort of understand that phenomenon in my case.

Lessee. So many of these things I don't have...favorites, blind dates, etc. I donno about unexpected smiles, I catch myself doing it when I'm around other people without really necessarily meaning to do it, just because I can't really give a good reason not to...
The one thing I willingly spend exorbitant amounts of money on (coming from the most stereotypical of Scottish households this is really saying something, too) is my sunglasses. Maui Jim's. Accept no substitutes or something. I'm pondering getting another pair soon, for the darker months, some rose-lens ones.

Things that make me unexpectedly smile: people acting goofy in public always does it for me. Seeing something beautiful in unexpected places. Spontaneous shows of affection. Seeing someone trip or slip or whatever - what can I say? I'm a fan of slapstick!

I will willingly spend exorbitant amounts of money on costuming and props for my show, travel expenses for my tour or for vacations (few and far between), and I love to buy people drinks/food/etc.

well, i won't be doing that again anytime soon... *shudder*

i hate that limbo-land between lucid dreaming and consciousness... where you aren't quite fully awake, but you're aware of your surroundings... this is usually the stage where if you try yelling... you can't muster more than a mumble, which only feeds the paranoia.

a sudden turn of events means that i'll be travelling to the...

Yeah, that is a strange spot sometimes. I find it disturbing mostly when I'm forcing myself awake from a dream I'd decided had gone on long enought, you know? If it's a good dream, I will sometimes make myself fall asleep again so I can go back to the dream.

Yay for your family cabin! Sounds wonderful. Sudden turns of events seem to be going around these days...

tks
yay for cabins. i hope it's in the woods.
