grrr... of course it makes sense that five consecutive months of waiting results in numerous opportunities that interfere with each other, forcing me to forfeit possibilities that would be MORE beneficial than others that i'd have taken because they were guaranteed...
in other words, i'm going to have to give up the chance to get a job that not only would i love, but i'd be well compensated for, and on my way in a career... because it's unkown whether or not i'd get it... whereas, i've been offered a seasonal job that isn't bad (except for commute issues) but will leave me, possibly, without a job four months from now...

Tonight: Curried Chicken Biryani with apple and raisin, tossed greens with a tahini vinagrette, red wine, and specialty coffee ice cream to finish it up... then... WHISKEY DRINK-OFF 2003, starring KNOB CREEK, with supporting roles from yours truly, ex-housemate 1, ex-housemate 2, and mutual friend.
