hmm... time has a funny way of surprising you. it's like sitting out at a cafe, reading or something, and along the street comes a friend from years and years ago that you'd assumed had been swallowed up by a path that led away from yours... in other words... time comes out of nowhere when you least expect it. not a novel idea, i know, but an expression nonetheless.
i'm flying back to tacoma this saturday... and... it's wednesday. as it is, i may be going down to DC as of friday to hang out with my best friend (who just got back from Costa Rica - her second trip this year... i want her job... *grumble*).
though, i now have a hat that says "Delaware" on it... and i'm gonna walk away with about $500... so that should help for a little bit.
meeting with someone today about the MFA program in photography at UDel... not even thinking about applying, just wanting to ask questions about the program in general and so on. she also wants to critique my work, so why not? (i'm excited for this, actually).

gold chains eh? I'm going to see them in Melbourne town next month! Very excited indeed....playing with butterfingers not quite sure who/what they/he/she/it may be but pretty damn exciting anyhow.......
