interesting... yes... very interesting...
so, the meal was incredible...
- honey brown ale (x2)
- grilled scallops wrapped in bacon
- maryland blue crab crabcakes with a twice baked potato and broccoli
- and a bit of a key lime pie...
however, what was particularly interesting was my step-mother. she has this tendency to... easily get drunk. i learned many years ago to watch out if she ever got ahold of a glass of wine... for, after one glass... well, trouble. i've lost previous girlfriends because of my step-mom's big mouth when she's drunk.
tonight was no different.
she was, as to be expected, chatty and eager to be nosy... however, the crowning moment came when, out of nowhere, she asked...
"So, had any hot, steamy sex lately?"
at this point, my dad just dropped his head, shook it, and then interrupted her from saying anything more and told her it was none of her business. i just stared at her.
oh, and did i forget to mention that she gets horny when she drinks? yeah... she's been pawing my dad for the past two hours...
i can't complain, really... it was just... interesting.

i'm sorry you feel pukey....that sounds like a very rich meal. could be the culprit, for sure. i am exhausted. i ran into my old neighbors from my old house--the ones who bought the house next door from the guy who punched me. they are 35 and 26 yrs old. it was good to see them, i didn't have their number. we stood there talking for over an hour. i thought of you, cuz i was conversationalus magnificentus, for sure! lol
