start off with some fast eddie clarke-era motorhead. "ace of spades" is always a winner. remember-motorhead is NOT a metal band.
if you're listening to motorhead you MUST also play the ramones. "leave home" is a good follow up to your previous selection. by the time "commando" comes on, you should have a good buzz goin'.
you're at a crossroads now. things could go in many directions. it's time to put on the dead boys "young, loud & snotty", but you take it off after "sonic reducer", because you want to hear side 1 of the new york dolls self-titled lp. now you're rollin'. the next obvious choice is any cramps records you might have. you've reached yet another crossroad. if you're gonna go get more beer, go now. you've got a good edge and your mood hasn't slipped! if you're set, you need to put on "sticky fingers" by the rolling stones. plenty of rockers on there, but also some sad ones in case you need to climb in your head for awhile. if you don't pass out during "can't you hear me knockin'" then you've got a few great songs to rock out to. if you can make it to "moonlight mile", you've got a great song to pass out to. whatever you do, don't pick up the damn phone. hey! that's your closet. that's not the bathroom! don't piss in there. too late!
