why on earth am i up at 5am???? on saturday, no less! mad

okay, since i'm up, and will most likely (hopefully) go back to sleep soon... i'll leave you with a way-too-early-morning question:

what do you do when you inadvertantly get up hours before your inteded waking time? (lame question, i know, but can you really blame me? no.)

Heart attacks? Aw, you're sweet! And I would be very disappointed if I went to a rock show and wasn't exposed to dellicious sexiness.

You know, once I'm up, I'm usually up for good 9or for bad wink ) so I usually just get up, make coffee go on the computer, and before I know it, I'm running late anyway. Go figure! If I'm really tired, I'll just lie there for hours.

By the way, nice sleepy artwork! kiss
alyssum:
Yuck, I do that way too often. I generally sit on the couch and watch TV or poke around on the computer till I'm tired again... for some reason I always fall asleep when I'm watching TV.

Okay, okay... hearing isn't fully back, but the pics are up. So there. tongue

#17-27 But since I'm such a nice guy, I'll even make you a link! Now you owe me bigtime!

Good show... could've used better lighting (or at least some variety in color)... but we all know that lighting doesn't make the band, don't we now?

And we also know that very few...

Woo, those are pretty cool, they look pretty energetic.

Nope, it weren't you... I'm not sure who it was, but they're back now and I'm no less perplexed. Go figure! Ah, and by "goodies" I mean "junk", aka "wobbly bits", aka "naughty bits". smile

Hello fellow soccer nerd. Nice to see there are a few of us out there. Who is your team(if you have one)? ANd how lame is my team? Jezze, they blew it last night and it made me want to punch people. Have you checked out the Women's World Cup? It's some amazing football.

PS- I'm putting you on my friends list, cause you seem like a real pleasant fellow. Cheers. smile

So, here's the interesting question... is it "appropriate" or acceptable to, in the middle of a movie, lean over and ask:

"Does your father have an aquarium? I think I remember him having an aquarium, but I'm not sure. I know that he liked fish, and that he'd had a saltwater tank, but does he still? Does he have any tropical fish in it?"

Personally,...

Interesting, that's a really cool analogy!

god, this is the most dejected, humbling feeling i've felt in oh-so-long...

no, doesn't have to do with the love life... no worries there...

just something in general... y'know... like a general convenience store... lots of things in it, lots of possibilities, lots of choices...

nothing to be worried over, certainly... just one of those hard realizations about life.

The cabin has always posessed a weird ability to rejuvenate. I suppose this is why so many people seek out opportunities to establish "cabins"...

It never fails to show me how much I've taken ours for granted whenever I bring friends out to it... comments like "it's so beautiful here," "it's so relaxing," and "this place is amazing" are almost tired cliches... but... it makes...

gone for the weekend. whilst gone, a few things that, if you're bored enough, you can tell me about:

- your best blind date story
- what you ate for dinner
- things that make you unexpectedly smile
- practice targets (i'm learning to become an assasin)
- the phrases that someone close to you uses (that whenever someone else says them, instantly reminds you...

My parents did the opposite. They cut my hair themselves, and very short, so everybody thought I was a femme-y little boy with my short, straight hair and tiny little hiking-boots. smile But then, I sort of understand that phenomenon in my case.

Lessee. So many of these things I don't have...favorites, blind dates, etc. I donno about unexpected smiles, I catch myself doing it when I'm around other people without really necessarily meaning to do it, just because I can't really give a good reason not to...
The one thing I willingly spend exorbitant amounts of money on (coming from the most stereotypical of Scottish households this is really saying something, too) is my sunglasses. Maui Jim's. Accept no substitutes or something. I'm pondering getting another pair soon, for the darker months, some rose-lens ones.
bombshellbetty:
Things that make me unexpectedly smile: people acting goofy in public always does it for me. Seeing something beautiful in unexpected places. Spontaneous shows of affection. Seeing someone trip or slip or whatever - what can I say? I'm a fan of slapstick!

I will willingly spend exorbitant amounts of money on costuming and props for my show, travel expenses for my tour or for vacations (few and far between), and I love to buy people drinks/food/etc.
