right when i think im heading in the right direction i hit another bump in the road.
im hardcore working towards graduating so i can get my degree FINALLY (6 1/2 years in the making) and get one up on the other pt shift mngr next round of interviews.
well my bar mngr got demoted a new one got put in place. they are training her for mngr duties, and i feel like yet again there is a new addition to the already stiff competition. The lady is 30, has a lot of experience, but she doesn't get the restaraunt from a servers point of view whatsoever. She bartends like she has all the time in the world, and every server dreads her being in service bar. Yet she impresses my gm, which i seem to be incapable of lately, especially attributing to the fact i feel the man does not take me seriously at all. i know im a big goofball, but i make the work enviroment more enjoyable dangit. people enjoy working with me and being around me which is more than i can say for some of my coworkers who are alllways debbie downers.
im trying so hard, im working my butt off. i cut back on hours so im not working upwards of 60 anymore and coasting at a nice normal 40hrs a week so i can focus more on school. i havent been going out but maybe once every two weeks and jsut come home and hit the books every free chance i get to just make it through this semester.
gahhh im jsut so frustrated with this whole predicament. i dont even know when the next position will be available and allllll my luck it will be right in the middle of the summer when im knee deep in summer school with no availability whatsoever. i always try to be as positive as possible, because a negative attitude never changed anything but it is sooo hard to keep my chin up right now.
positive things:
interlock device off my car in 4 weeks
new car in 4 weeks
this semester is OVER in 3, bout damn time.

i get to work bar tomorrow night
i have off allllll day next thursday to study study study
only one more assignment due in stats
colin did not get kicked off bravo make me a supermodel
i discovered blackgold, they are awesome you should listen to them
