This weeks topic.. My favourite set and the day it was shot!

So this was a tough one for me. I've only shot a couple of sets, and I really love and have enjoyed shooting them all for different reasons. Promises was my first set with a Staff photographer and was my first time meeting a Suicide Girl, Dali did my hair and makeup for the shoot. It will always hold a special place in my heart because I shot it in Portland, OR and got to spend an amazing week in a city I left my heart it. I also shot an amazing set with MichaelMae before him and Marceline moved to LA, this will be coming to MR at an unknown date later this year. That set is gorgeous, and was one of my most favourite days! I got the chance to creep on a lot of other hopefuls and just spend a whole day around wonderfully positive people, a memory I will cherish forever.

But if I have to pick just one set to be my favourite, I'm going with my future set 'Galactica' shot by the camera magician @alissa and styled by the ever gorgeous @radeo! Battlestar Galactica is one of my all time favourite shows, and ever since I started modeling I've wanted to shot a BSG themed set. When I found out that Radeo and Alissa were going to be shooting hopefuls in Atlanta I jumped at the chance to work with them. The morning of the shoot I was so nervous to meet the ladies I had been inspired by, and looked up to for so long. Luckily I was their 8am shoot or else I would have just been paralyzed with anxiety for the whole day. They were both so sweet and down to earth, within minutes of meeting them my anxiety had passed. @marceline and @michaelmae were so kind to open up their house and let all of us hopefuls shoot there. It was also very helpful that I had met Marceline and Michael before that day, or else I would have been even more nervous. The shoot was fabulous. Radeo played a space themed mix to set the scifi mood, and Alissa was so fun and encouraging, I really hope I get the chance to work with her again some day. That weekend was also really awesome because I got the chance to have dinner with a lot of the other hopefuls that had shot that weekend.

I'm forever thankful to Suicide Girls and to Alissa for bringing me closer to all these wonderful ladies! And that is why Galactica is my favourite set. And hopefully when it goes into MR on April 9th, it will become one of your favourites too! Keep your peepers peeled on future blogs for more sneak peaks!
