Hopefuls Log. Stardate 91356.29
It is October 1st and the start of the best month of the year! So begins the season of cool weather in the mornings, colourful leaves, and, most importantly, everything taste like pumpkin! October is my favourite month because of all the awesome activities! The annual Zombie Walk, The Great Decatur Craft Beer Festival, Gay Pride, HALLOWEEN, and of course all the pumpkin carving, cider, and haunted houses. How can you not love this season? Sadly, I will be missing this years Zombie Walk, which isn't too bad, but I'll also be missing Gay Pride, which I'm heartbroken about. It's one of the most magical weekends in Atlanta and always such a blast, especially living in a gay neighbourhood. But on the flip side, it's because it is the same weekend that I will be in Canada visiting my family. So it definitely isn't all bad. It hasn't been that long since I last updated so I've only got a few things to post, but enjoy!
I forgot about this picture. But about a week or so ago I took a stroll through the city and happened upon an adorable little park tucked away from the busy city streets. Atlanta city planning isn't all that great, so it's the moments I stumble onto things like this that I remember what I do love about the city. I enjoyed a good book and a delicious pumpkin bagel on a bench in front of a little fountain. It was a lovely morning.
I can't believe it took me this long to mention.. BREAKING BAD! The finale was amazing!!! I think possibly one of the best finales to a series I've seen. Perfection. Showing off my rad Battlestar Galactica shirt I got awhile back at Dragon*con. It read 'Send More Cylons' and I love it. I was lucky enough to snag the set list at Ra Ra last weekend. I'm a sucker for a Victoria's Secret sale. Annnnndd this is how I write my logs. With my kitty Marley perched on the back of my chair. He says post more kitties, so here's some science kittens.
