@shalafein that's an awesome story. I love when you get into things almost accidentally. It makes me feel like it was meant to happen. You and starship troopers were meant to be friends. Lol. And it's a good sort of cheesy story.

Some great choices there. I was also quite late to the Alien movies, for me it was the Star Wars films that were the story of my childhood and got me fascinated by all things space and sci-fi. I remember the first time that Star Wars was ever broadcast on UK tv and it happened to be on my birthday! This was a huge deal for me at the time, especially as it was before most people had video recorders. I was so excited to watch it and play with my new figures (which I still have) that I received for presents!
