I was sent out to rehearse in Niagara Falls
But ended up going into the show unexpectedly when one of the girls got injured.
I really only do one show per year, so while I def enjoy it - my body takes quite a beating :P

Even so, it is always super fun to get on the ice, and even better when I can do it close to home!
I had the chance to catch up with some very dear friends from right here in our own community, and I have to say, it was such a treat!
The lovely Lou Lou came from Toronto to watch the show with me. And a few days later, @mneylu & I shot lasers, destroyed dragons, ate sugar, and flew into the night sky ℅ our Clifton Hill Fun Passes :P
Then, on my final night in Ontario, my faves @luscious & Dane took me out for bowling,
and pizza demolishing.
I don't spend nearly enough time back East, so getting quality time with all of my friends, and family there can be tough. The fact that all those people went out of their way for little ol me was a big deal!
PS> the tubs at the Niagara Hilton are MAJOR!
Sadly it wouldn't fit in my suitcase :P
Next up, I headed down to Mississippi to do a 3 week run at the Beau Rivage Casino… on plastic!

On my first day off I went into New Orleans to meet up with @Fractal, drink coffee, and take pictures.
I have met so many incredibly diverse, and talented people right here on SuicideGirls. Seriously! To be out on the road (ice skating of all things!) and spend time with my friends from this site is a true case of sliding doors. It's like, old life meets new life. But it works, and I love it, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Anyhow… With all the training, performing, and travel, I decided to take a wee break from my blogging experiment. Now that I'm back in Vancouver, I'm planning to update you regularly with photos, and stories from my 2013 adventures. After all, a new series of craziness is comin up in a few short weeks… better hurry and get y'all caught up while I can!
