So - I picked up my puppy this weekend. My 8 week old, Yorkshire Terrier "Deebo" and it's been mixed emotions since then.
Of course, it's great to have something that truly unconditionally loves you, despite how many time you accidentally punt it accross the room because it insist's on being under your feet. I also LOVE terrier's, they're smart little creatures. But, with that undying, incessant love, comes the crying, and whining, and barking, and soul wrenching screaming. Worst - seperation anxiety - EVER.
We're also just starting to work on NOT peeing on the carpet. Fortunatly, for his sake and mine, he's learning very quickly. In two days he learned to sit, what "go potty" outside means, and to usually go on the news paper. Not bad for an infant.
Meanwhile, my cat Chef's world has just been jolted. That poor kitty. I'm taking him to the kitty hospital today. He hasn't eaten or had water in 4 days. I suppose he could be protesting, but he seems disoriented now, so I'm taking him to the doctor. Hospitalization is expensive, but worth it.
That's all for now!
