So my estimate of how many people would leave a comment on my It's Just the Internet essay (approximately half a person) was way off: The count currently stands at 8, which is pretty damn awesome, if I do say so myself.
I have more friends than I expected, as well. Expect another essay soon enough. I like to let some time pass between essays so I don't get beaten by the Pretentious Assfucker stick.
To make up for this slight against the collective conscience, I present to you a picture of myself, with toothpaste.
Now, if that isn't self-effacing enough to ward off wayward comments on subtle (or not-so-subtle) delusions of grandeur, I don't know what is.

If it helps, I use PITT pens by Faber Castell, usually the smaller tips, but sometimes a brush tip. Extremely lightfast India ink. I sometimes use dip pens and I'm working my way up to the holy grail of inking - the sable brush, which lets you vary line widths if you have good control of it.
