I don't have many followers and am somewhat sporadic in activity on here but I thought maybe in the midst of this outbreak I can start sharing songs that are moving or just enjoyable to me. If anything, it might open people up to something new and different that might resonate in a meaningful way or otherwise just lift you up out of the mud, if only for a little while. I thought I would start with a song called Altar by machineheart. I had taken shrooms to attempt to rewire my brain, and in the process this song changed the way I think about music and made me think about what I'm looking for in songs and what they mean to me. This song has obvious religious origin, and though I am not religious in any way and never will be, that shouldn't stop us from appreciating forms of art that come from it or just dismissing things out of hand because they come from someone's faith
