Riker would so do him too.
sadista:
No, Riker wants Data.
The way he always stood behind Data's console with his leg propped up like he was about to hump his head...
sadista:
Haha, awesome. I have one of my Data action figures posed holding hands with Geordi, cause they're BFFs. tongue

I love that even stone cold sober I will never betray my ethics

Girlfriend of musician playing: They are playing to an empty room, come in guys!

Me: If they want to not clear a room, perhaps they should not play such derivative, and essentially shit, music.

Everyone at my table: *Shocked looks of panic*
_smurfzilla_:
Hehe!

Drinking a couple of bottles of red and watching some of the city's premiere burlesque performers.

And I'll scowl the whole way through.
ahnhell:

I think I've hit the age where I find people in their mid 30s (whom i tend to have more in common with media wise) to be too stuffy and dull, and the younger lot to be too, well, young.

Makes for a startling realisation.
comixbookgurl:
I havent hit that point yet.
roxiebeee:
it's been nice getting to sort of know you, too.
thanks for your input/ blogs and whatnot. i appreciate it.

and yeah... i am currently at the awkward age where i'm not really getting along well with anyone.

hmmmmm.....

I don't really go for those silly resolution things but for 2011 I endeavour to
Drink less
Read More.
Have more social activities (a la the start of 2010)
make more film
continue my Masters degree
pick up my occult studies again
Do more for the local music scene.

All 100% attainable too.

Happy New Year! I don't really do the resolution thing. Maybe that should be my resolution... to come up with one resolution that I could conceivably fulfill.
user2938756:
Those are great attainable goals. I'm going to join you on the less drinking front. Ugh.

I want to complete more paintings and get 'em into a gallery show. Who knows, right?

And thanks for always being so supportive of my pictures here. You've had my back since the beginning and it never goes unappreciated. <3

urgh. Balancing a new relationship, a female best friend, pre-arranged plans and having it not all blow up in my face is more difficult than I had anticipated.

I think I will forego sobriety and usher in the new year with the sort of alcoholism that killed John Bonham.
comixbookgurl:
Goodness wink

Does anyone have any insight as to why The Who are generally held in such high regard?
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING.
Like a dull mashup of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones with a dash of Yardbirds and Pink Floyd thrown in. The end result, to my ears has always been one of uninspired pop ditties. No oomph at all.

sadista:
No oomph? David Caruso's sunglasses disagree. tongue
comixbookgurl:
no idea
