In other news, I think I just renamed a friend's band.
It seems like all the good bands 'round here are utterly re-staffing or re-naming themselves. Which is a shame, because its often that unique collection of nuances that gets one interested in a band in the first place.
A blues two piece that I love lost their drummer and expanded to include a bassist, and it just isn't the same. He drummed like Bonham, but with a 90s alt rock sensibility too, which was a fucking thing to behold.
Hopefully 2012 will bring a bit of stability to music.
