So, after $12 in tolls, three massive anxiety attacks for me, 3 hours of driving in Maine, 2 1/2 hours of bad radio in Maine, 10 minutes of The Smiths, a beatuiful night and a beautiful bridge at night, I am home and equipped with a brand spanking new Game Boy Advance and my friend is home and equipped with his own brand spanking new kayak.

The girl at Circuit City starting asking me where i was from as I bought the Gameboy and i said, "Newburyport, Massachusetts" and she kept talking, going on and on asking how far from Boston I lived and I told her about how I was moving to Boston for a year then hopefully Portland, Oregon, and I never even thought to tell her to give me a call. She was cute and sweet and kept touching her hair, and fidgeting and looking at me and I just was so excited that I had a new Gameboy Advance that I just fudged it all. Perhaps I'll drive the hour there again and buy a light for my new little toy and see if she remembers me.

I know no one on this site, and no one knows I have a journal on it, but I keep writing anyway.
