Well this didn't take too long at all using course grit sandpaper and a block. The ugly black paint revealed a really pretty wood grain, so I am going to try to bring that out a bit more. Not sure how I will manage to get rid of the black in the truss-groove, but I will figure it out.

Well, I ran outta booze, and can't be arsed wasting more money to restock, so that "three days of excess" idea for my birthday fell on its face pretty quickly.
Probably for the best, alcohol is shit anyhoo.

In other news, this is me looking for the god damn delivery man.

There's something to be said about maintaining a constant level of intoxication over a set period of time.
