Go see X-Men Apocalypse.
Best X-film to date.
It features a Jean Grey and a Cyclops that don't suck.
It features all my Marvel comics cues (from like, 87-97, coz I cut my teeth on X-Men and then added some Avengers/FF/Iron Man in the early mid 90s), and boy oh boy did it deliver on those.
Slight third act problems, but I think this is my equal favourite comic book film along with The Crow and Batman V Superman.
If you've been a fan of the X-Men comics for the past 25 odd years, stick around til the end of the credits too. Something that is an adjective of wicked this way comes.
Which is a big backdoor for Gambit and Cable and all those good things that made the early 90s Marvel books the funnest, most nutty comics in the mainstream (aside from Image. DC in the early 90s was a bit balls).
In other news, my guitar build won't be finished til like, August/September due to stuff.
