How Do You Spell Sartre
It has been brought to my attention that I am slacking
I have apparently beginning delinquent in my blog posting duties
(Hehehehehe duties)
Settle down, Beavis
Anyway
Every morning I walk into work
Its a little before 7am
The majority of you arent awake yet
A few of you have yet to go to sleep
I put my bag down
Click on my computer
Put down my juice and then wash the subway off my hands
I sit down at my desk and open Microsoft Word
And I stare at the blinking cursor
Usually a sentence or two will come out
Ill read it over and over
Then Ill continue
Until I hit a wall or Im finished
If I get stuck, I go back to find out why
If I can fix it, I can
Some days I start over
Some days I push through
Some days I have Word open all day and I never make it passed the first two sentences
Some days I give up and write nothing
But thats what I do
Everyday
Between 10 hours of work
Between multiple IM discussions
Between daylong email conversations
Between phone calls and text messages and office banter
I manage to squeeze in a few hundred words or so
For no other reason than to entertain myself
Maybe to find out about myself
Maybe entertain someone else perhaps
Maybe start a discussion about something with someone else
About anything
Because in essence, thats why Im here on these sites
If for no other reason than to find people with similar interests and/or something to say
If only to find different people to talk to
