I went to see Revenge of the Sith again last night
The futility of it all is more depressing the second time around
Just to know how its all going to turn out
Takes some of the fun out of it
But would I care as much if I went into this thing blind?
If I didnt know about Luke and Han Solo
Would I care at all?
Would I have been able to see the humor in Padmes declarations of love for Anakin or would I have simply gotten up and walked out?
Or Grievouss cough?
Would I even be talking about this right now?
I would probably tear it apart
Mock it relentlessly
Ruin it for anyone and everyone who would listen
Instead I accept it
I can overlook the feeling of dread that creeps into my stomach every time natalie portman steps onto the screen
I can forget the sheer hatred I feel whenever a droid besides C3P0 speaks
Because I know whats coming
I know that it will all be put right in the end

Now
I have to go see it again
I'm hoping by seeing it again that I will soon be able to perform a force choke
Sure
The odds are not in my favor that I will be able to acquire this skill
But it's possible
And before you tell me that I'm deluded
That this will never work
