MMmmmmmmm Disconnection (Drool Sound)

Not having internet at home is quite a shock to the system
I have no way to really waste time anymore

Upsides to my disconnection:
-Catching up on my movies
This weekend alone I took in most of the Netflix backlog: South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut and California Split
I cant seem to put Memories of Murder into the dvd player.
Maybe I should just send it back
I finally watched Sin City in its entirety, in one sitting, sober
I finally completed the Die Hard Trilogy marathon I started before I moved
Though this time I found myself yelling at Jeremy Irons to just shoot McClane and get it over with already
Sure
It would have shortened the movie considerably but come on
Anyway
That movie has one of my favorite movie exchanges ever:
Holy shit is that guy dead?
Yes, Jerry, Im afraid he is.
On top of all that I also got to watch of one disc of this supersweet Tex Avery cartoon collection someone sent me from Ebay by accident
-Actually unpacking
And actually finding places for things rather than just piling everything on top of each other
-Leaving my room while Im at home
Sure
It was only to watch the Yankee game
And sure
I was drinking by myself
But I wasnt drinking alone in my room

Downsides to my disconnection:
-Im tricked into thinking Im popular
I walked in here this morning and I had comments and messages and friend requests
Seen at once it looked like a lot
Spread out over 3 days
Not so much
-Ive gotten so used to communicating via email and IM that Im almost lost without them
I could pick up the phone and call people
But then I begin phone relationships with them
I dont want phone buddies
Then Id have to answer my phone
