Ive been all out of sorts the last two weeks
Packing up my life again
Moving again
Unpacking again
Trying to do what I couldnt seem to do in my last apartment: make it feel like home, get settled
And therein lies the problem
Making a home
Getting settled
I could very well have the same problem I had last time
Moving into someone elses home
Trying to make it my own
And not succeeding

So Im starting over again
In a new place

And thank you to those who helped me out this weekend
Whether you helped me carry my bed
Or you just carried a bag with coffee maker
Whether you helped me move anything at all
Or if you just had a drink with me when it was over
It was a difficult weekend for me
Without the chaos of moving
After seven years its still a hard day to get through
Maybe because I remind myself of it daily
And around the middle of September I am always conscious that its coming
