so i just ordered my dad's father's day gift. i'm ordering him copies of the original passenger information and ship information from when my grandfather came to america at ellis island. i'm actually pretty excited about it myself. to think that my grandfather was my age when he left home and came to a foreign country, not speaking a word of english.... it actually gets me kind of emotional, since i never met him. and now that my grandma's gone too, it's just kinda sad. my dad will love it. i'm gonna frame everything, and try to incorporate an italian flag too. wish me luck!
