A guy walks into a store to buy his coffee. Walks out with said coffee. Takes at least two days to recognize that it is "decaf."
I just happened to notice a tiny green leaf on the side of the sack denoting it such. To be honest, it was a new coffee and I couldn't tell the difference.
This leads me to ask, "Should I switch to decaf?" Why not? Taste the same? Or am I just past the point of no return? Do all coffee's taste the same? Why is it that coffee at the shop has a LOT more kick to it? I buy the same shit shit at home,and it taste like crap and never the same kick.
Cutting caffeine out of my life would make me, for the most part, drug free. I mean, no booze, no recreational drugs, and then no caffeine. Gawd damn! I'm sooo boring! Growing up, I told myself that I alone could be a party! Now, I'm drinking decaf! My 17 year old self just punched my 37 year old in the face...


Sooo, I sit here drinking decaf, due to it being the only coffee in the place. The whole placebo thing worked for a couple of days. Maybe it'll all be okay. Maybe the world doesn't revolve around caffeine. Maybe, just maybe.
