So, as I count the days down, I've been busy starting a small business.
I've been into old vintage audio gear for some time now, and I've found my little niche in it. I make cabinets for the old silver faced stereo's. Nearly $25/each in materials, and roughly 20 hours of "hobby" time.
That will be nearly $75-$100 profit on each cabinet.
I like it. It's fruitful and educational.
I'll let SG go for awhile.
I've been on for over seven years! That's SEVEN YEARS!!!
The rest of you pale in comparison. I heard from a co-worker about this site in 2001. I joined shortly after. I've seen ALL the versions of SG. I've been witness to millions of complaints about the new updates. I've seen amazing people get zotted. I've met SUPER AWESOME people on here. I've dated people form SG. I've seen quite a few SG's. I love SG. Never really had a bad thing to say about it. It's just time to move on. Maybe I'll come back. Who the hell knows? Triple Rock on Wednesdays. Tuesdays with Toneski. Concerts. etc
The drinking thing got in the way at the end. For personal reasons, I cannot function that well around other drinkers. So, I've had to make a few decisions about who I hang with. I really didn't want to do that, but it's better then sitting in a jail cell. Drinking became a HUGE part of my life. So, I cut it out. Collateral damage was the loss of cool-ass friends. My bad.
I remember a few members I've had major crushes on. One being ShesSoMetal. Saw her dance at the Duece Duece.... Man, was that tuff. **Ahem**
A select few I've came close to. Thank you and I hope we talk soon.
Groups on SG have been by far the most important element. The Mac Users helped a TON! Celeb worship has been a blast. The small/big BooBs groups are sexxxy as hell (I like boobs). Old skool was fun... BUT most of all........
SGTC has been an outlet/resource on all sorts of levels! Thank you oh so very much. Really, thank you. I think you can still contact me when acct. is down.....?
