Posted my room for rent for real this time. Time to get strangers in here and look at the place. I can charge a bit more with strangers. I'm even willing to rent the parking spot in the garage. Got a few nibbles in the first hour or so after posting. Good news. Now I just have to sift through the sucky ones.
Up for a new job soon. If I get this job, I'm back on the crazy hours gig, but the money will set me up nice. Benefits/retirement plan/the whole package. If I do not get this job, I think TinyE will be looking outside the normal means for employment. Moving to a different state/country is foremost on my mind. Cautiously optimistic.
I join another website. Just to check it out. I do like the pictures. More natural. Not quite the community, but... Whatever, I think I'll be on SG till it burns down. Kinda funny, I've been on here for over 6 years now. It's kinda my daily thing now. Like reading the news paper.
No State Fair this year.
I went swimming yesterday for the first time in years. I had a blast. Of course, this was in my brothers new pool and with my niece and nephew. It was sooooo much fun. I got home and felt like I had just got the shit kick out of me. Man, was I tired.
I think Mexico in the spring with old friends! Not specifics yet. Any suggestions on where to go?
I've had opportunity to hang with some Rad people lately, but I've wimp'd out. Too tired. Too late. I felt like going/staying home. I gotsa improve this inability. The no drinking thing is tuff. I still have urges. I still find it hard to put myself in those situations. Not due to everyone else, but myself. "It's just one beer." In Europe, it was easy. Only a few nights of stoopid drunkenness. But here, it's my life. I can screw up my life.
