Nothing like a nice long bus ride to get your mind right. I had a blast with some SG folk tonight! I miss that crowd.
I've had some time to process this event. Not gonna share, but I think everything is just fine. I'm still working TOOOO fuckin much, but other then that, life is just fine.
I like myself.
I feel good.
I am happy.
All these things are supposed to be in a life.
The Self-Hate thing is a point of conversation tho. I look at kids and parents and people on the bus, on the road, at work....... And I can just feel their pain and isolation inside. For example, the other day I saw some dude get on the bus with total body burn scars. I almost broke down there. I could only imagine the pain, the day to day suffering this guy goes thru! People have distanced themselves form others. Do you talk with your neighbors? I remember a time when your neighbors watched over you just as much as your parents did. You might have to ask for a cup of sugar.... Not these days tho. Self-proficient, we are. We sit in our little worlds (called cars) and think of ourselves. How can I fix this problem?, what should I buy with my tax return?, where can I take my next vacation?
I have just taken a moment and started a conversation with a stranger..... What would that hurt? My 18 personal bubble might pop!
