i am still figuring out how to use this journal. it seems kind of ridiculous to go to 'edit prefs' to update a journal, but who knows. it may very well be the only way. or some random sger may tell me a better way. or you will all laugh, laugh at my stupidity. i guess, in all fairness, that's it's sort of funny.

my friend is coming to visit me in two weeks. very exciting.
