Now that i'm back i'm going to try to make the most of it.
SGScotland has attracted a lot more members since i left my position of power. Good to be back there, and there are still friendly faces that i remember.
Apart from the locals i think i'll be keeping myself to myself on SG, one step at a time.
Going to try to update this every couple of days, things are on the up and up and you might find some of my stories exciting. Or perhaps not.
Anyway, to fill you in.
It's been like 9 months or so since i was last around, i've been struggling to come to terms with mistakes that i made. They say you learn from your mistakes, it's true, but that doesn't make it hurt less.

On the bright side of things, i've changed a lot as a person over the last while.
* I work as a freelance photographer, i'm not very well established but i've covered events, shot fashion shows, movie stills, portraits, model portfolios and so on. The money is decent when it comes.
* My life is pretty much 100% photography driven now. I spend every weekend out photographing something, often candids in Edinburgh. I have a fairly good studio setup, and very nearly bought a property to put it all in, i have a willing assistant and some friends that would model.. Basically things are on the up and up.
* I got a huge pay raise at my fulltime job, which means i can comfortably move to Edinburgh in the near future.
* I see a therapist fortnightly, and have a lot of my ADD related issues under control.
* I've lost most of my friends since the beginning of the year, but very recently i've found some new ones.
* I am closer than ever to my family.

So you see, things are getting better.
