my weekend thus far has sucked egregiously.

i organized a meet for the SG Scotland group, it was supposed to happen last night.

as friday closes in, less people start to post about it and i get zero emails.

so i invited a good friend along. so that i wont have to sit in the pub alone.

note: i dont drink, i dont much like other people drinking, in fact, i really dislike sitting in pubs. but sometimes sacrifices must be made.

all friday my friend is incommunicado, he's supposed to meet me at 4 to go to edinburgh, but i dont hear from him. at about 3 i get a message from him saying he's already at the pub, and he's with another two guys.

two guys that i loathe. two guys who i would gladly throw in the sea. i would literally rather scratch my eyes out than have to sit with these guys. two guys who i'd probably end up fighting by the end of the night.

it occurs to me that not only am i risking a shit night for myself, but i risk embarrassing all SG members who turn up, "so where do you guys know each other from?".

so i spend the next hour or so, telling my friend to get rid of them, no luck.

so i head into edinburgh, and sit, for hours. i get no text messages, i get no emails. what i do get is cold and angry.
