cooking pot roast for the first time.
the vic... er, i mean friends i invited over to dinner should be arriving around 5-6.
then the eating and drinking of wine, beer, cocktails.
hope the roast gets done on time, i have this bad habit of trying to cook new things and they take twice as long to cook than the recipe says.

got roped into working this weekend.
guess it's okay 'cause i need the overtime.
also need to get back into my running, have slacked off this week.
will have to make it up over the weekend as well.

the new couch is here.
had to call in late for work as the delivery somehow got scheduled for the early a.m. .
also had to sign a damage waver and got a nice little gash in the entryway to fix later.
the couch just barely fit but once inside it looks good on the south wall of the living room.

i got a raise!
and a new couch is on the way.
should be here in a week, still need another chair and a new tv.
then i can worry about hanging some stuff on the walls.
maybe paint and trim over the fall/winter.
get rid of some of the rental white.

i'm also going to get furniture for the living room bought before the weekend is over.
then i can have people over without them sitting on the floor.

finally found some furniture for my living room.
now i just need to get paid, buy it, and get the stuff delivered.

have moved and will be closing on a condo on the 15th.
also have finally got my new table and chairs for the living room bought, to be delivered friday.
now i just need to figure out what to do with the living room.
it's a weird layout and will take some finesse to keep it open and not...
