I saw an existential sandwich this weekend. A friend revealed a divorce to me on Thursday. Another friend today revealed another she was getting a divorce from her husband today. On Friday, I watched a couple be pressured that they should get married, after having been together for 6 months.

Divorce...social pressure to marry...divorce

I just don't understand monogamy, marriage, socialization, or labels.

I'd really rather just the world leave me alone and let me do what I will. I keep being reminded of Donne's poetry.

"For God's sake, hold your tongue and let me love!"

I've been thinking of getting different lines of poetry tattooed on me. Maybe I should get that one on me.
