So tonight I found out that my pregnant friend's boyfriend beat her up. She said that they were arguing and then he pushed her across the room and slammed her to the floor with a choke-hold. Then, if that wasn't bad enough....He told her, "I've thought about different ways to try and make you have a miscarriage, like replacing your insulin with sugar-water....".....And all of this comes after my friend repeatedly told him to start wearing a condom during sex, to which he scoffed and said he didn't want to. Let me say that any male who does those things to ANY woman, much less the woman he supposedly cares about, is a sub-human pest and doesn't deserve to see the light of day ever again. Luckily her and the baby appear to be OK, but it took my friend's dad every bit of inner strength he had to not break the punk in half (which would be NO problem for my friend's dad, believe me....It just sucks that I'm in Illinois and my friend is in Texas, otherwise I'd help him.) I told my friend to go to the doctor to get checked anyways, just to be sure, so she might do that in the next day or so. Sorry for the rant, but after my mom got beaten by her 2nd husband, I take shit like this personal!
