So, I've been thinking about this for a bit. I know that there's a thick red line between those(like myself) who like to stylize their typed words online or in text messages, etc....and those who absolutely HATE when people do it. Now first, I can see why it would irk people, like when people use poor grammar or talk all ghetto. But then there's people(like me) who might change the spelling of a word or something like that, but still use the right words at the right times. Now, I'm probly the farthest thing from ghetto, so I just do it because It's part of my personality. Just like my clothing or my ink. So I was just curious what irks people the most when they see someone do this. I've heard people say that they think it makes people look immature or uneducated, but if the words and grammar are used correctly, who cares??

I personally detest when people use poor spelling and grammar on purpose. Seeing phrases like, "All U haterz gonna hate", confusing "too" or "to", and using "they're, their, and they're" incorrectly on a regular basis are the visual equivalents of nails on a chalk board. However, I see no problem with styling your words and format as long as it it doesn't detract from what you're trying to convey.
