so it's about 45 minutes until it's officially christmas. i kind of miss that nervous anticipation in the pit of my stomach that was my constant companion as a child during this time of year. but that's ok. now i get to see the little pre-adults that my siblings and cousins are becoming, or have become. it also makes me wish that i were a little closer to some of my family that i've grown away from over the years, but that sentiment is for another time. now on to the booze and sugar excess.
