i'm a little late with this but i'd like everyone to give a warm welcome to my fiance PaisleyPony to the site.

it's been snowing here all day. the last time it did this was about 4 years ago. a rather rare occurrence.

this weekend, I asked her to marry me. she said yes. happy days are here.

i've been looking forward to october for months. literally. i hate summer. i don't care what all those sun worshipers think or say. the night time is the right time. and the nights are creeping out earlier and earlier. something about the inevitable hug of darkness just makes me so happy.

i haven't been able to see my girl for two weeks. we haven't had sex for three. this weekend, we have some catching up to do.

time for an update.

the job is going much better now than it has been over the past few months. after finding out exactly how far behind the office was on some of it's paperwork (4 months worth at times) i thought i was going to have an aneurysm from the stress. but i got through it. and now everything is running a little smoother....

3 day weekends are nice, but most of the time i just don't know what to do with myself. it's too cold to do anything outside and i'm already getting tired of being in the house.

i had my birthday dinner last night, and it may have been the most fantastic dinner i've ever had in my life. we reserved a special table in the back of the one good sushi place in town. with 16 people crammed around a table meant for about 10 we had an awesome time trying to make sure everyone had a little bit of everything....

the new job seems to be working out so far. except for the fact that i have to get up about 3 or 4 hours earlier than i did for my old job, it's not so bad. the holidays went by in a flash. which is nothing new. now i'm just looking forward to friday since it'll be my 30th birthday. so long dear twenties.

so tonight i finally got a call telling me i had a job. after 2 months of unemployment and who knows how many applications, someone actually took the time to call back. maybe now i can actually begin to catch up on some of the bills that have stacked up.

it's been a little over a month and the job hunt continues. the market around this area is so bad that the only places to work are the hospital, wal-mart, or the next town over. i miss you niche-small-business america.

they string me along for a week and then want to send me to a receptionist job in another town?? WTF!!

i need to move. seriously. this town has no opportunity for anyone except those that are willing to kiss some rich motherfuckers ass.
