yeah, Krav Maga is the israeli army form of self-defense, but more importantly, it's aimed at fighting any way you can to get out of a situation where your life is at stake. which is more than most martial arts do. most of them assume some sort of rules, while Krav Maga accepts that there are no rules. I read about it years ago and was interested, saw an ad for a place in CO that taught it, and called them up.
