I spent ALL day Sunday feeling like I was going to die . Actually I would have welcomed death at that point . You see , Saturday night after work I went out with a friend of Irish descent to an Irish pub . He tells me " It's an Irish pub , you should drink Irish drinks . " So I agreed . We drank Guiness and an occasional shot of Jameson's Irish whiskey . Now I've had both of these drinks before , just not in the massive quantities that we wound up consuming . Needless to say the next day I think I did permanent damamge to my stomach . I felt the way that guy in the movie Alien must have felt before the nasty little monster blew out of his chest . NOT GOOD . .

So as I was incapacitated , I just wallowed in my misery by watching football all day ( SCREW YOU , RAVENS!!!! ) , and playing Star Wars : Battlefront . All in all , not a very productive day ( Although if any of you are interested...The Empire HAS conquered the galaxy and many Ewoks will burn in Ewok hell this evening ). What are 'ya gonna do , though ?

The moral of the story is NEVER drink with the Irish . Not that they're necessarily bad people , but they WILL try to get you to drink enough alcohol to run SIXTY alcohol fueled funny cars for a year . So BEWARE .

On a happier note I did receive a phone call from my friend who was similarly ill all day. That made me feel a little better .
