I have returned from the great North West!!!! Portland was AWESOME!!!! I had a really great time. Such a clean and friendly city with so many strange and sometimes downright WEIRD people. It was just such a huge departure from the East Coast. OH...and the BEER!!!! Holy poop on a stick, the beer!!!! So many breweries, so little time. I did not go a single day of the two weeks that I was out there without beer. I fell in love with this little bar called the Broadway Bar & Grill. Cheap food, good beer...REALLY good beer, and cool people working there. If you ever find yourself in PDX I highly recommend it. I would take that place over all of the more popular and trendy breweries and bars that I visited ANY day. Their Begian White beer was SOOOOOOOOOOO tasty and it was 8.7% alcohol content. Which means about three of them will knock you on your ass. If you go on Monday it's $2.00 pint night. You can literally get tanked for under $10.00. FANTASTIC!!!!

I came to realize that Portland is the city that will accept you no matter how abnormal you are. If you have some strange or just slightly off center aspect of your personality, there is a group out there which will embrace you. Whether you're straight, gay, sane, crazy, black, white, green, blue, or republican. They will let you be part of there little club. Thanks Portland. You were good to me.

Oh yeah, and I did some work out there too.
