It's been a nice quiet weekend. Sometimes I just need to rest up. I read some good books this weekend. Nothing really heavy. A few by Andre Norton. I found this place on Coventry. It's called Mac's Backs. Been around for a good long time I'm told. You can get books there really cheap. Pennys on the dollar. I bough a shitload of Sci fie, for about twenty bucks. Some were from one of my first Science Fiction authors, Andre Norton. She's always been very prolific, and a wonderful juvenile fiction writer too. She's been awarded the title of Gran Dame of Science Fiction. Most deservedly too. Her career has spanned almost seventy years and countless teens have experienced her work.

I guess I'm just on a nostalgia kick.

On oranges: They may not have pits, but some of them have something else going on. I insist on picking out all the itsy bitsy seeds some of them tend to have close to the core of the fruit before being able to enjoy it. It's like some people with fish bones.

On science fiction: Good stuff. Just saw an adaptation of Well's War of the Worlds at the local theater. This may sound creepy, but I draw many parallels on modern terrorism to that story.

On toes: If you can pick things up with your feet, you are a sexy man.

On comment #2 you left in my journal Sunday: You know what's funny is that you don't have any pictures. All I "see" is a logo for SG floating in your profile picture spot. Pictures are a copy of your life. I find them pretty darn important. You should consider sharing some, even if they are pictures of cans of pork'n beans.
