I'm so excited right now. I'm a writer and it's been a dream of mine to have a book published. No, I'm not there quite yet but I'm getting closer. Usually when I start writing, I get to a certain point and then stop. I don't know why but the story no longer interests me. I thought of an idea for a book about six months ago and have been letting it stew in my mind since then. Last week, I sat down and started writing and writing and writing. I've been working on this every day since then and at the rate I'm going, I reckon I'll have it finished by early next year.
Everything is coming together so beautifully. I'm finding that just by writing a few words, a sub plot will leap into my head and then another twist and it's amazing. I've never felt so inspired before.
The only nagging feeling I'm having at the moment is how on earth do I get this thing published? I have no idea what to do. Do I send a few chapters to publishing houses and hope they read it? Anyone have any experience??

Hmmm. That's unfortunate. Well at least you got published, that's better than a lot of people.

Keep working on your dream. Check out Amazon for books on getting your story published. In our technological age, I kinda wonder if some people upload portions of their story via computer. But I think an author should have it copyrighted long before that. Keep working at it and believe in your talent.
