Update on my life.
I've been off work for the past two weeks. I've been having severe anxiety attacks. I don't know what triggered them, but I go to the docs on tuesday and hopefully she'll put me a different medication that will better control them.
My cats have been insane. They've been running around the apartment, knocking things over, eating plants, I odn't know what's gotten into them. Maybe because I'm home all the time now, and they're just excited to see me. I have three cats (yeah, I'm getting close to being a crazy cat lady!) I adopted two cats a year ago. They're brother and sister and they're now a year and a half old. Lucy's my grey, laid back cat. She never fights with me or causes trouble. She's just absent minded. She'll frequently forget she's lying on the edge of the couch or bed or whatever and she'll roll over and fall off. It's fuckin' hilarious to see. I've never met such a clumsy cat in my life. Her brother Necro (Necropheliac aka black demon cat) is a genious. If he had oposable thumbs, this cat would be prime minister! He sits on command, lies down and always tricks me. If I'm in another room of the apartment, he'll knock something over to get my attention and then he'll proceed to scratch my chair or eat the plants just because he knows he's not allowed to. He just likes to piss me off! I use a spray bottle to discipline the cats. I'm currently on my fifth spray bottle. Necro has broken the other ones. I caught him last night chewing on the nozzle of this one, and then he picked it up and dropped it off the couch. He looked down at it to see if it was broken and when he saw it wasn't, he attacked it! The third of my cats is Apollo (named after apollo in battlestar gallactica). He's a siamese and is four months old. He;s a typical kitten, high energy, and really good at stealing food when you're not paying attention. Have you ever met a cat that loves lettuce? This cat does, he gets so excited over vegtables, it's weird.
My parents came back from their road trip in the states. They brought me five new license plates which brings my collection up to 41. Yeah, I collect license plates. I also collect antique phones. I have a pay phone from the seventies. Anyways, back to the license plates. I have a few rules for my collection. I'm not allowed to buy or steal any of them. They have to be given to me as presents. Quite a few of my family members and friends have caught on and have been giving me them. They usually pick them up at garage sales and whatnot.
I've also been accumulating quite a few books. I'm a huge nerd, I love to read. Right now I have five book cases and they're jam packed with books, I really need a sixth bookshelf. Is that weird that I have so many books?
Other than that, not a whole lot has been going on. I've been spending a lot of time in my flat. On one hand that's good but on the other, it's not. I feel safe here but I really need to conquer this fear. I should go out more often.
