No one really knows how you feel because you've gotten so good at pretending. No one really asks if you're ok because you're too strong to ever really appear like you're breaking down and so you read these words and feel like I am speaking directly to you. Maybe I am. Maybe I see beyond your forced smile that you use to conceal your emotional truth. Maybe I see through the selfies on your Instagram that paint you as so damn happy when honestly your heart is full of emptiness. Maybe I see through your captions beneath a photo of the person who should be making you smile but instead they fill your heart with doubt. Its hard because you choose to focus on the good instead of the bad...but then again, the good moments, the good things are running out and all you've been left with lately is this feeling of emotional pain, all caused by the one person who you'd do anything for. Maybe you cant like this because they'll see that you did. I wish you weren't afraid of being happy. I wish you weren't afraid of leaving them behind. You dont have to say anything. I know it's easier said than done. I hope you see this. I hope you understand that I am talking to you. - R.H. Sin. -
