Well here goes nothing. 20 interesting things about me. Bear with me. Ahem.
1. I lived in Kentucky, Maryland, Georgia, California, Oregon, Washington and then back to Oregon.
2. My life really started when I was 12 in California and fell into the punk scene during the early 80s. My first show was the Circle Jerks in 82.
3. I grew up down the road from Jello Biafria of the Dead Kennedys in Walnut Creek. Up the road was Markey Post who played on night court. My third cousin was also on a TV program called Head Of The Class. Her name is Christina Hodges. She was the redhead.
4. I was put into a continuation school because they said I was a bad boy, which was cool cause we were aloud to smoke in class. They banded smoking the year I graduated.
5. I lived on the streets in Berkley and SF for over two years and took part in the Haste Street Project riot where we took over an abandon house for the homeless. I also took part in the march against the Arian Woodstock.
6. In my drug days I did some acid and put my face through the springs of a trampoline. Later that night I ended up smoking some weed laced with coke and drank a crap load of red wine. I thought when I threw up my insides were bleeding and almost gave myself a heart attack. It was the red wine.
7. I started a band called Drastic Action. I played a little bass and sang. I was friends with Chris Cantos of Attitude Adjustment and lived in a warehouse located within the projects of Oakland.
8. Sammy Town of the band Fang lived around the corner from us where he killed his girlfriend by shooting her full of black tar. She was a friend and very well loved by all. Sammy was on Americas most wanted and captured.
9. I have been to over 200 punk shows between 82 and 91 but had lost count. I cant remember half of them.
10. I was one of the original people to help start the Gilman Street Project in 86. I was watching the door and money during the shows. I also meet Erin of Crimpshrine when he was starting his zine called The Comet bus. I heard not to long ago that he was living in Eugene from a coworker who is the singer for The Anxieties.
11. I was a skater for a long time on vert and street. I broke my right wrist doing a laid back rock and roll. I had a bone graph done to fix it.
12. I raced street bikes at sears point raceway for the quarter mile. I owned a nighthawk 450, EX500, Nija600 and a GSXR1100. I wrecked the 450 on a busy street and went into the rear window of a pickup. I had reconstructive surgery of my left thumb joint. The 1100 got stolen and I had no insurance. What a shitter. The other bikes I sold because of finances.
13. During my self-pity time I joined the Navy where they booted me out after 3 months. Sorry son we dont take people with previous wrist surgeries. Oh well, it was for the best. Fashists anyways.
14. I suffer from Depression and ADD. Zoloft has been my best friend. It works really well for me.
15. I was a process technician in the plastic field for 14 years or so.
16. I am currently disabled form heart and kidney failure. They say I may need a pacemaker within the next couple of years. The dialysis will be sooner as my kidney function is at 15 percent. As soon as it hits 10 I will be getting tubes installed.
17. I married twice. First wife was Goth and in Portland. I will not mention names because there are a select few on SG that know her and I get a lot of shit although it was not all my fault. I was very suicidal after that marriage. I remarried later for 9 years but the last three years of the marriage were like, Why are we married. No intimacy and I was very faithful. It has been a long time that I have had any intimacy. I have been divorced now for 8 months.
18. I have two beautiful daughters who are 6 and 8 years old. I see them every other weekend. I also have a cat I call kitty.
19. I'm wanting to get all my tat work done as money comes in. I dont want to miss out on the last years of my life. Doctors say right now it will be 20 years or less. To early to tell.
20. Currently looking for my punk, gothic or alternative partner in life.
Bonus: Although a lot of bad things have happened to me in the past, I would never want to go back to change them. I am who I am because of these events.
