What on earth is it about university that is so bloody annoying!!? It's constantly a battle to get any sense out of people, to please tutors or to feel you are progressing as an artist. I guess in some ways the institution goes sort of against the ethos of a creative. Trying to force things to come out against a planned timetable, there are bound to be clashes at times.
In the last two weeks I've snapped at every tutor, told them I was intending to throw my studio wall through the window and launched a chair in to a painting! This is not how to get ahead! Count to ten and all that!
Here's hoping the future holds more interesting possibilities, at the moment it all feels very stale indeed.
