Looks like I have another 3 weeks membership here and then pooof.....off for the forseeable future. I need less ways to whittle hours away on the internet, and more flesh and blood people. I may turn it back on in a whlie, who knows....I normally crack at some point!

This week will see the job I'm doing help renovate offices/cafe space finish and hopefully give enough pay to pay for a fairly tasty camera...then I will find my flickr log in details and start updating that!! hehe! So many plans, yet so little action!! disappointing!!

For now, I'm off to feed my "pathwords" addiction on facebook!! hehe!

I was the same - after several years of using Canon 35mm SLRs, I got a Canon digital (9 months ago) so I could keep my lenses (crop factor is an issue for my wide lenses however). I got a 40D as the build quality inspired more confidence than the entry level ones, plus the small size was a problem. Took me a while after I started photography to learn that the lens is more important than the camera!
