Whoop!
First part of trip is booked, leave England on May 3rd for Paris. Just gotta sort the rest now. I have 5/6 cities in mind and a natural route does link them, so far I've snooped and found cheap accomodation in 3 for sure. Next is to check the rail links and see if things are as simple as they should be.
Ashford - Paris - Avignon - Venice (?) - Florence - Rome - back to paris (nighttrain) - Ashford......Easy!!! May fit in another stop somewhere, but Paris and Rome will be about a week each as they are loaded with galleries, museums, architecture etc - Will take my proper SLR camera and a couple of sketch pads.
Only thing that worries me is when I think of the trip, there's a cigarette in my hand!! And THAT is a very very bad sign!!

Yeah, after doing one of those super trips this summer, I feel its good to get in relaxation or it can wear you out. By the time we hit Dubrovnik I was spent.
i know the isle of wight isn't sorted and all but i stumbled on 'rock werchter' and would consider selling the tickets to go to that instead. it's in belgium but works out much of a much and is four days long
